Who we are:
We are an organisation dedicated to supporting needy and socially disadvantaged families and their children. Education and training of less favoured children is the main goal of “Chance for a better life”.Our work began and still focuses on the garbage areas of ‘15 of May’ and ‘Al-Zarayb’ at Mokattam area. But we are also increasingly trying to support families seeking help in other parts of Cairo. Our current centre is located in Wadi Hoff.
At Chance for a better life, we are committed to empowering the future generation by providing children across Egypt with access to quality education. We believe that education is the key to unlocking potential, breaking cycles of poverty, and creating opportunities for a better life. Through our initiatives, we strive to ensure that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the chance to achieve their fullest potential and build a brighter future.
In addition to our educational efforts, we extend our support to children in need by assisting with medical cases, ensuring that health challenges do not stand in the way of their dreams. By combining educational advancement with critical healthcare support, we aim to create a holistic approach to nurturing the well-being and success of every child we serve.
Through our work across Egypt, we envision a society where every child has the tools, resources, and opportunities to grow, thrive, and contribute to a better tomorrow.

For over 20 years, Chance for a Better Life has been committed to transforming the lives of children across Egypt through quality education, essential support, and medical assistance, even during the hardest times.
Our Montessori Kindergarten, with four active classrooms, provides a nurturing environment that fosters creativity and independence as a foundation for lifelong learning. We also sponsor over 100 children, ensuring they have the resources and mentorship needed to thrive. Older youth, who have benefited from our programs, now give back by mentoring younger children, fostering a cycle of growth and community.
Beyond education, we address medical, emotional, and social needs, holding weekly youth meetings and supporting couples preparing for marriage. We are dedicated to expanding our reach, opening more classrooms, and enhancing our programs to empower children and strengthen communities.
With unwavering commitment, we aim to create lasting change and brighter futures for children and families across Egypt even in hard time.
